As the game wound down last night t appeared the Denver Nuggets were headed to another heartbreaking loss. After building a double digit lead in the fourth quarter, the Nuggets got into foul trouble and allowed the Minnesota Timberwolves to whittle away until they found themselves trailing by just two points with 27 seconds remaining. The Wolves gave the ball to Andrew Wiggins for the final shot and after Danilo Gallinari and Wilson Chandler switched on the screen it appeared that Wiggins had beat Chandler and was going to the rack for an easy two points to tie the game. Chandler didn’t give up on the play though and emphatically swatted the ball from behind.

Gary Harris also made an underrated play by throwing the ball into the backcourt to take precious seconds off the clock. When Zach LaVine finally retrieved it, he had about five seconds to get back up the court and throw up one last desperation three which clanged harmlessly off the rim. Exciting sequence to finish an exciting game, take a look!
