Nikola Jokic picked up another triple-double in the Nuggets 120-118 win over the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday, powering the Nuggets to their 39th win of the season.

Jokic had 20 points, 18 rebounds, and 11 assists in 36 minutes, including the game-winning tip-in, another ridiculous performance in a season that has not only earned Jokic his first All-Star game berth but has seen his name mentioned in the MVP discussion.

While the story of the night was Isaiah Thomas returning to the court after missing the previous 11 months, Jokic was the unassuming star as usual. He got his first basket when he passed the ball to himself off the backboard after the defense rotated to the point where Jokic’s path to the rim was wide open. While he missed his first shot attempt on the final possession, he was able to follow it up with the softest of taps to gently nuzzle the ball through the rim with 0.8 seconds remaining.

The big guy will head to Charlotte, North Carolina next to participate in All-Star weekend. Let’s hope the trip to the east coast doesn’t cool him off, because he is red hot.
