The Denver Nuggets lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in heartbreaking fashion last night. The loss, which took overtime to decide, eliminated them from the playoffs and ended the season. For Nuggets fans, its an all too familiar feeling of having their hopes raised only to have them crushed. In the darkness of the loss though there was a shining beacon of light: Nikola Jokic. The Joker had a monster game for Denver, recording 35 points and 10 rebounds and flat out keeping the team afloat during the third quarter. The end result wasn’t wanted they wanted, but Nuggets fans can find solace in Jokic stepping up in the biggest moment.
