Nikola Jokic was on a mission Monday night in Atlanta. That mission led him to one of the greatest games of his career as he scored a career-high 47 points against the Atlanta Hawks.

Jokic’s 47 points came on an extremely efficient 16-of-25 shooting from the field, 4-of-8 from beyond the arc, and 11-of-16 from the free-throw line. The Nuggets big man just missed out on the first 50-point game of his career, but will certainly have more opportunities to do so in the future.

It was not just scoring the basketball as Jokic was everywhere on the court. Jokic also hauled in eight rebounds and dished out five asssists. Jokic was so dominant that at one point of the game, the Hawks fans were cheering when he was subbed off the floor. That is because he was dominating the game so much and Atlanta has no recipe of how to slow him down.

The Nuggets would end up winning 123-115 and put together a nice bounce back performance after their loss to Washington. To watch all the highlights from Jokic’s career night, click the link below!
