You know a player is really good when they can score 21 points and it seems barely noticeable. That’s exactly what Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic did last night in the first game of the season. Against the Los Angeles Clippers Jokic quietly put up a very Jokic-esque stat line with the aforementioned 21 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists. When Denver plays a style of basketball that flows through their center games likethis are going to happen a lot. Nikola’s too skilled to not be productive when the action runs through him, even when it doesn’t even look like he’s having his best night, as was the case last night.
