It was looking bleak for the Denver Nuggets as they trailed the Orlando Magic 69-50 and seemed well on their way to a devastating home loss. In stepped a 24-0 run and a dominating second half performance — led by Jamal Murray — by the Nuggets and suddenly Denver walked away with a fairly easy 113-104 victory.

Murray played a massive part in the win scoring 33 points on 11-of-19 shooting from the field, 2-of-8 from behind the three-point line. It was not just scoring as Murray also hauled in five rebounds to go along with an assist and one steal.

A big second half is truly what propelled Murray’s night as he scored 21 of his 33 points in the games final two quarters. That was also the time Denver went on one of the greatest runs in franchise history and Murray played a big role in it.

On the season, Murray is now averaging 17.5 points, 4.4 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game. His 33 points on Wednesday night was the second highest mark for him in a game this season, only topped by the 39 points he scored against Memphis in November.
