It was a magical night at Pepsi Center, and one of the biggest reasons why was Jamal Murray.

The Blue Arrow led the Denver Nuggets to a win with 33 points, from transition threes, to an annihilation of Steven Adams’ ankles, to clutch baskets down the stretch against Adams, Russell Westbrook, and Paul George.

Murray really is evolving in front of the entire world. He continues to add moves to his game that make him dangerous from all over the floor, and his efficiency this early in his career has only be matched by one man: Stephen Curry.

That’s not to say that Murray will be Maple Curry down the line, but it speaks to what the Nuggets have in the young 20-year-old. Every season, Murray has improved, and while the Nuggets still have a ways to go, the trio of Murray, Nikola Jokic, and Gary Harris should be one of the most exciting NBA trios for a long, long time.
