No one can doubt Denver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray when it comes to toughness. Famous for gutting out injuries and putting it all on the floor, Murray once again showed his mental strength when he overcame a nasty ankle tweak to stay in the game last night and lead the Nuggets to a 102-99 victory over the San Antonio Spurs. It was a good thing to because Murray was highly effective for Denver last night. He had one of those nights where he was capable of getting big bunches of points in small spurts and did that more than once over the course of the game on his way to thirty-one points.

After having a very forgettable performance two nights ago in San Antonio, it was great to see the Blue Arrow have a bounce back game like this. Jamal is never going to lack in confidence so it shouldn’t be any surprise that despite putting up the stinker on Wednesday, he was letting everything fly last night.
