It was a match made in heaven for Gary Harris tonight, who was able to feast on some porous defense by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Denver Nuggets beat the Cavs 126-117, and Harris was the biggest reason why. The 23-year-old shooting guard shot 10/17 from the field and 6/9 from behind the three-point line. He chipped in six free throws and four assists as well. His ability to run the floor and find open space for uncontested shots is nearly unparalleled in today’s NBA, and he was hitting from his spots tonight at an extremely high rate.

Maybe its Gary’s closer proximity to Indiana (his hometown) or maybe he’s recruiting LeBron James to come play with some real shooters. Either way, the Nuggets needed this performance from Harris in a bad way, and he put them on his back for a huge in on a road back-to-back.
