Torrey Craig is the newest Denver Nugget after signing a two-way contract with the team following his impressive time in the Las Vegas Summer League. It’s fair to say that Craig was one of the few bright spots for the Nuggets’ summer squad as the forward did just about everything for the team during his time in Las Vegas. Craig averaged 11.5 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, all while providing the defensive effort the Nuggets so desperately need.

Craig’s breakout game came in the Nuggets first summer league victory over the Houston Rockets when he dominated for 27 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks. It was a game in which Craig attacked and defended and was rewarded with scoring opportunities. He made 8-of-14 shots and finished shooting 10-of-11 from the free throw line.

Though it’s likely Craig won’t crack the rotation, hopefully these highlights offer a glimpse of what he can provide to the Nuggets in the future. Check it out!
