One of the best up-and-coming basketball personal trainers is Drew Hanlen of Pure Sweat Basketball, “a basketball training company that offers a variety of products and services to players and coaches at every level.” Over the years Hanlen has built a clientele of high profile NBA players including Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers), Andrew Wiggins (Minnesota Timberwolves), Zach LaVine (Chicago Bulls) and Bradley Beal (Washington Wizards). He also documents the rigors and dedication required to be a full time personal trainer for NBA stars on Pure Sweat’s Youtube series, Unseen Hours.

In the latest episode of Unseen Hours, Hanlen travels from Los Angeles to Philadelphia to train with the top ranked player from the class of 2020, Isaiah Todd, then drops by Denver Nuggets point guard Jameer Nelson's Lead Guard Invitational to work with some of the top young talent from around the area. Footage includes Nelson getting ready for the upcoming season on the court and in a boxing session, as well as helping out with drills. At the end of the video, the veteran guard shares some words of inspiration to the younger generation on what it takes to make it to the NBA.
