Ty Lawson is playing like an All-Star and deserves to be on the team. His head coach, Brian Shaw, agrees.

You could say the coach is supposed to support his players, but the numbers also agree with Shaw. The Nuggets are currently 11-7 and in sixth place in the tough Western Conference and Lawson is putting up career numbers by averaging 19.3 points and 8.2 assists. His numbers in those two categories have improved in each of his five NBA seasons, but they've made a significant leap thus far.
