The LOCKED ON NUGGETS podcast is a daily Denver Nuggets podcast with new, 15-25 minute episodes every Monday through Friday. In today’s episode, I share my notes on the loss to the Houston Rockets. The game was a classic schedule loss so the Nuggets were fighting an uphill battle but there were plenty of small things the team could’ve done better that would’ve given them a better chance at a grabbing a win.
If the Nuggets want to make the playoffs, this will need to be the last loss of the year. I still think Portland is likely to lose two more games so if Denver can run the table, I think they’ll get in. But the final four games of the season are all going to be tough. It should make for an interesting finish and, hopefully, a happy one for the Denver Nuggets.
