The Denver Nuggets have drafted University of Kentucky sharp shooter, Jamal Murray with the 7th pick in the 2015-16 NBA Draft. Murray has been one of the top prospects in this year's draft and brings several skills that the Nuggets desperately need including shooting and playmaking.

Murray made the 2nd most 3-pointers as a freshmen in the history of college basketball. Number 1? Steph Curry.

Murray has the potential to be an elite three-point shooter and should provide some ball-handling as a secondary option in the back court. He'll likely play heavy minutes as a rookie behind 3rd year guard, Gary Harris. The trio of Emmanuel Mudiay, Gary Harris, and Jamal Murray has the potential to be one of the best backcourt trios in the league, certainly one with the best upside.

This is a phenomenal haul for the Nuggets. Murray has an incredibly high ceiling and should provide some scoring punch for years to come. Nicknamed "The Blue Arrow," Murray just adds to the growing youth movement in Denver.

On being drafted by Denver:

"Denver sounds good. I'm just happy to be with a great organization.

On playing point guard or shooting guard:

"I'm down to do whatever, whatever it is, I'm ready for it."
