Ending a road trip with another gut wrenching loss in Philly was not what anyone had planned for a quiet Tuesday night. With tonight’s loss, the Nuggets dropped to 14-8, and although a loss is a loss and a win is a win, the Nuggets held their own against a healthy Sixers team. They now face their first major injury scare of the season, losing Jamal Murray to a hip contusion early in the first quarter.

While none of us like to see injuries and we all hope Jamal is healthy for Thursday’s match up against Portland, perhaps this was the first real struggle the Nuggets know they must react to with real focus. The Nuggets are a perseverance kind of team. They go out and work hard, looking out for each other. You could say it’s the “stiffs” in them.

In this episode, I share my overall feelings on the season and why this team is so different than last year’s squad. I also dive into some more positive statistics in favor of Michael Porter Jr. this year.
