The 2019 All-Star Game voting ended recently, and the starters will be announced later today on TNT.

Denver Stiffs’ own, Brendan Vogt is reporting that Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets starting center that has led the team to one of the best starts in franchise history, will not be among the five starters for the Western Conference when the announcement is made tonight.

While the fan vote was able to get a lot of attention for Jokic, that is only fifty percent of the calculation that is made for this honor. The remaining fifty percent of the vote is split between members of the media and the players themselves. The results of those votes will be released at a later date.

The All-Star Game is the unofficial halfway point of the season. This year, the exhibition will be played in Charlotte, North Carolina. At this point, there have been no reports of any other Nuggets players receiving an invitation to participate in any of the other events during All-Star weekend. There is a possibility that second-year player Monte Morris could participate in the Rookie-Sophomore Game.
