According to Mike Singer of The Denver Post, the Denver Nuggets will be without starting shooting guard Gary Harris for tonight’s contest against the Detroit Pistons.

Harris exited the Nuggets game against the Utah Jazz early on Sunday with a left adductor strain. Singer reports that Harris is getting an MRI for his injury today, which hopefully reveals nothing serious.

There really wasn't a play that stood out in which Harris looked to have been injured, but this video is the closest thing we have to any sort of clarification:

This is not the first time Harris has suffered a lower body injury in his career as he's missed at least 10 games in every season dating all the way back to 2016-17. Denver is already without P.J. Dozier (right hamstring strain), so hopefully Harris’ injury is not serious.

Through 18 games, Harris is averaging 10.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. Harris has started is every game he's played in and was replaced by Monte Morris to begin the second half in yesterday’s game.

Luckily for the Nuggets, they loaded up on depth at the guard position this offseason, so guys like Morris, Facundo Campazzo, and R.J. Hampton will have a big time opportunity to step up.
