Back in the Colorado Limited studios at 1525 S. Pearl Street with guest David Starcer from The Bird Writes.com – he’s a Colorado sports guy that closely follows the Broncos, Rockies, Buffaloes, and … writes about the Pelicans. He joins us for the second time, having been a guest talking about the NBA draft over the summer.

In this episode we cover much ground. Starting with Ross Martins’ headlines. We heavily discuss the Broncos win over the Raiders on Monday Night Football. We also talk about the Denver Nuggets and how soon Danilo Gallinari should come back from his ACL injury. We also cover the NBA nicknames, and find that the nicknames with the Pelicans isn’t as easy as we thought.

Then we talk about Todd Helton and his imminent retirement. Is he the greatest player in Rockies history? Then we delve into Dante Bichette leaving the Rockies to spend more quality time at home (he lives in Florida). We wonder if the play in Game (Rockies over the Padres in 2007) would be considered one of the greatest games ever if the Rockies were an east coast team.

We wrap things up with a vigorous discussion of beer, as Nate Timmons forgot to play my play-in music. Sigh … so disappointing.
