After a month-long hiatus Nate Timmons and myself come to you from Jakes Sports & Spirits on 3800 Walnut St. in beautiful Denver, Colorado to talk about NBA rookies and the state of the Denver Nuggets. Meanwhile Ross "hipster glasses" Martin is stuck in Toronto, Canada … having not made it back from the Nuggets game last week. We wish him luck on his travel issues.

Who are the best rookies in the NBA? Timmons and myself debate the current rookie crop and talk about Emmanuel Mudiay and where he fits in that group. We talk about Mudiay's struggles, and head Coach Michael Malone's decisions recently to sit Mudiay out at the end of games.

We also go into Nikola Jokic, and we get some great audio from Malone talking about Jokic's advanced skill set and his surprise that Jokic has come so far. We end the program talking about the need for rest for Danilo Gallinari, and the need for the Nuggets to balance their current defensive philosophy with the fact they need to get easy buckets to gain confidence.

As always enjoy the show!
