The 2018-19 season had to come to an end at some point, and it did so in bitter fashion in Game 7 at home against the Portland Trail Blazers last week. The Denver Nuggets have very few questions to answer in the offseason about their viability as a playoff contender, but in order to get better, Denver needs a few things to go their way.

In this episode, Ryan Blackburn and Gordon Gross discuss the first domino to fall: Tim Connelly will stay with the Nuggets as President of Basketball Operations. Ryan and Gordon discuss Connelly, Denver’s healthy culture, and attracting free agents.

Then, they turn to Michael Porter Jr., Jamal Murray, and Paul Millsap, Denver’s three most important players in the offseason festivities. From projecting Porter’s season, to discussing Murray’s needed improvements to become a star, to deciding on Millsap’s team option, Ryan and Gordon go through all of the scenarios.

Finally, they discuss possible free agents for the Nuggets to pursue in the offseason.
