The Nuggets announced today that they are exercising the team options for Juancho Hernangomez, Malik Beasley, and Jamal Murray.

The move guarantees the three players salary for the 2019-20 season.

Additionally, this sets the table for the team to offer these players extensions during the summer of 2019, similar to what they did with Gary Harris two years ago. That would make the first year of their new salary their fourth year option, with the new contract kicking in the preceding year.

Trey Lyles will be a restricted free agent at the end of the season. Paul Millsap has a team option for $30,000,000 next season, which if the team declines, he would be an unrestricted free agent. Tyler Lydon has a team option for his third year that has not been announced as of time of publishing.

The Nuggets currently have $90,191,771 in guaranteed contracts for the 2019-20 season, which would leave them with $18,808,229 in cap space.
