On a night when struggling Denver needed him the most, Nikola Jokic brought the magic to Chicago for the Nuggets, leading the team to a huge victory over the Bulls behind an impressive 19 point, 16 rebound and 10 assist performance.

Any worries about Nikola Jokic being in a slump following the All-Star break were erased Tuesday night as the Joker shot 60 percent from the field, including 3-of-3 from deep, while reverting back to his usual playmaking abilities within the Nuggets offense. In the first three games since the break Jokic had averaged just 5.3 points and 5 assists while taking an uncharacteristically low amount of field goal attempts, prompting questions regarding a sophomore slump for the center.

It was also a big night for Jokic as there was a large Serbian presence in the arena, with Serbian flags waving and large cheers for the big man being heard throughout the night.

Tuesday’s game marks not only Jokic’s third career triple-double overall, but his third in the month of February alone following triple-doubles against Milwaukee and Golden State earlier in the month. The Joker finds himself in good company as only Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder has more triple-doubles in that time span.
