The Denver Nuggets second year center Jusuf Nurkic made his first public appearance since media day today at practice … working on his knee strength and shooting a bit of jumpers on the side. Coach Michael Malone spoke after practice on Juka, and gave a “very” tentative guess as to when we MAY seen Nurkic be able to play.

Also, we get to see the Nuggets working on some out of bounds plays towards the end of practice. It’s interesting to watch the seemingly natural formations they get into, Nick Johnson looked good during many of these sets as well. It’s always interesting to see the instinctual nature of basketball players as they kind of just know where to go after the simplest of instruction.

We also see Nikola Jokic getting up some shots at practice. Good to see him healthy after banging knees and getting elbowed in the neck in the Oklahoma City Thunder game.

Good footage today. Hope you enjoy!
