The only thing that might be better than the NBA Finals? Maybe it's Jimmy Kimmel's Mean Tweets, NBA Edition. Don't believe me? Watch this short clip to see the awful stuff people write to other people, and get some laughs at the absurdity of it all.

The interesting aspect of these segments is that they likely breed people to keep sending "mean tweets" in hopes of getting theirs read on Kimmel Live by an NBA player they may or may not like. It's funny that Jimmy has these segments so that we can laugh as awful people's tweets, but it also likely keeps the tweets coming – to some degree. Let's not kid ourselves, the internet will keep these going, Kimmel or not.

Anyhow, the Finals start back up tonight and everyone knows about Kyrie Irving’s injury. His broken knee cap (that sounds just horrendous) will sideline him for the rest of the post-season and most of the summer. No Kevin Love, no Irving … no problem for LeBron James and Company, right? The Cavs were very good in Game 1 and got the Warriors in deep waters, and then LBJ missed that game winner. In overtime, it was predictable what would happen.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Man, missed opportunity by the Cavs there. Feel like OT favors the Warriors in a big way.</p>&mdash; Nate Timmons (@NateTimmonsCO) <a href="https://twitter.com/NateTimmonsCO/status/606665673494822913">June 5, 2015</a></blockquote>

And overtime was indeed a bloodbath for the Cavaliers. Apologies for quoting myself there, but it just felt like Cleveland gave away that game, and perhaps the series. We'll see if they can bounce back in Game 2.
