Monte Morris had himself an excellent Summer League. He was the best player on Denver’s Vegas roster and carried himself as calm, cool, and collected both on and off the court. The dude is a smooth operator. The dude is a bonafide baller. His teammates know it, players around the league are taking notice, and apparently, the world-famous model Amber Rose sees it too.
Rose, a 34-year old model and actress, has been in the public eye for quite some time. Having gone from starring in Kanye West’s music videos back in 2008, to signing with a modeling agency, to starring in and hosting cable television programs—Rose has grown into somewhat of a househeld name for those who are dialed in to modern culture.
You might also know Rose for her A-list collection of ex-boyfriends. Rose famously dated Kanye West after she began working for him roughly a decade ago. The couple dated for two years before the relationship fell apart. Rose began dating the rapper known as Wiz Khalifa in 2011 and the two would get married in 2013, but cited irreconcilable differences as grounds for their divorce the next year. In 2017 Amber linked up with the rapper known as 21 Savage, but that too fizzled out the following year.
Monte Morris may have the very best assist to turnover ratio in NCAA history. He may also have the respect of his coaches, teammates and opponents. But let’s make one thing clear—the dude is on a two-way contract in the NBA, landing Amber Rose just solidifies him as a real one.
