The NBA revealed the Rising Stars game rosters on Wednesday afternoon and two Denver Nuggets players made the cut.

After being snubbed from last years rising stars game, Michael Porter Jr. makes the team this year along with rookie sensation, Facundo Campazzo. No game will be played this year as the NBA is doing all the all-star festivities on Sunday evening.

It would have been cool to see Porter and Campazzo compete against each other and it’s a shame no game will be played. Still, it’s an awesome accomplish for both players who have been great for the Nuggets this season.

After missing over a month due to health and safety protocols, Porter has really come on as of late and is averaging 14.2 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. As for Campazzo, he has filled in nicely with the Nuggets and is averaging 5.5 points and 2.1 assists per game.

Campazzo has really made his presence felt on the defensive end of the floor as he’s arguably been the Nuggets best defender this season. Not only is Campazzo averaging one steal per game, but he’s constantly made life hard for opposing players that he’s defended.

Congrats to both MPJ and Facu!
