In today’s episode, I recap the incredibly entertaining game against the San Antonio Spurs. The short-handed Denver Nuggets lost but the rising young star, Nikola Jokic, fresh off of setting a career high earlier this week, set a new career high with 35 points to go along with 12 rebounds and four assists. Right when you think you’ve seen the best he has to offer, Joker riases the bar and shows you something new.

I also talk about the stellar first quarter of Juancho Hernangomez and talk about where he ranks in terms of upside among the team’s young core. Jamal Murray also got minutes and put up a highlight one-handed dunk. And Emmanuel Mudiay got outplayed by a rookie, Dejuonte Murray, whose career high before tonight was 10 points. The young point guard dropped 24 on Mudiay and the Nuggets and begs the question: “When will Mudiay start taking it personal that guys keep carving him up?”
