What slump? After a slow start to the 2017-18 season, Jamal Murray had a breakout performance in Brooklyn on Sunday night by putting up 26 points (four less than his career high) on 57% shooting. Heading into the game, Murray was just 2-for-21 from three this season having not made a three-point shot since the season opener against Utah.

All it takes is one make to bust things open, and after Murray drilled a three-pointer early on in the first quarter it was game on for the Blue Arrow. He did more than just nail a couple big threes. He was aggressive in attacking and finishing in the lane, he drew fouls (8-8 from the FT line) and he dished out five assists on top of that. Most importantly, he looked like the point guard the Nuggets need to have success this season.

It might have been Murray’s best game of his young career thus far. Check out some of the highlights below!
