Jamal Murray came into Wednesday nights game against the Charlotte Hornets listed as questionable because of back pain. Murray now has another injury to worry about as he had to be helped off the court in the second quarter after appearing to roll his left ankle.

Murray went up to block a three-pointer in the corner and immediately fell to the ground after landing on that left ankle. Murray was down on the court for a couple of minutes before Vlatko Cancar and PJ Dozier helped carry him off the court.

Cancar and Dozier were carrying Murray to the locker room as he was putting little to no weight on that ankle. Murray did start to walk a little as they got closer to the locker room, which is a somewhat positive sign.

Murray played 15 minutes in the first half and scored five points on 2-of-7 shooting from the field to go along with one assist. Through 39 games this season, Murray is averaging 17.9 points, 4.7 assists, and 4.2 rebounds a game.

*We will update this story when more information on Murray becomes available*

Update: Murray has been ruled OUT for the rest of the game with a left ankle injury.

Good news … Murray’s X-rays did come back negative according to Katy Winge.
