The Denver Nuggets played their second preseason game on Wednesday night and their first official game at newly branded, Ball Arena. What a debut it was for the newly branded arena as the Nuggets blew the doors off with great games from well, everybody.

It all started when the Nuggets poured in 41 first quarter points. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray were doing their thing, while Will Barton really jump started the Nuggets second unit in his first game back in almost a full year.

As fun as the first half was, the second half was even better as almost everyone on the Nuggets roster made some type of big play. Whether it was Facundo Campazzo making unreal backspin passes or rookie Zeke Nnaji draining three-pointers, everyone on the Nuggets roster got in on the action.

Denver ended with six guys scoring in double-figures: Paul Millsap (18), Jamal Murray (16), PJ Dozier (15), Nikola Jokic (12), Michael Porter Jr. (10), Bol Bol (10). Dozier really stood out as he went 3-6 from beyond the arc to go along with six rebounds and three assists.

A player who didn’t finish in double-figures but really stood out was Isaiah Hartenstein. Not only was he a perfect 4-4 from the field, but Hartenstein really shined with his passing and playmaking ability. It’s just two preseason games, but Hartenstein has looked the part and should play a big role in the Nuggets success this season.
