Nikola Jokic put up some stats against the Atlanta Hawks but didn’t necessarily have a great game. It wasn’t a bad game by any means but a lack of consistent touches and proper ball movement meant Joker was playing the role of finisher on offense much more than creator. I like creator Jokic the best and that’s when Denver’s offense seems to really get humming. It’s probably not a coincidence that the Nuggets struggled from behind the arc last night seeing as how little the offense flowed through the seven-foot Serbian.

Still, it’s encouraging just how much Jokic can outplay opposing centers even on an off night. 18-15-3 is a monster stat line that would stick out for almost any other player but for Joker these numbers are becoming routine. Check out the highlights below and start to get hyped for tomorrow night’s unicorn duel at Madison Square Garden between Joker and Kristaps Porzingis. Hopefully Joker dominates him on the big stage the way that he ALWAYS does.
