Just how they drew it up.

After two buzzer beaters from Oklahoma City and Portland on Tuesday night, the Nuggets entered Wednesday night’s game with the Minnesota Timberwolves with the brightest timeline still in play. One more win, plus another from Portland, and the Nuggets would secure the two seed with Utah, Houston, and Golden State all on the other side of the bracket.

The Nuggets didn’t exactly get the performance they were looking for, trailing by 11 with 3:27 to go. But they engineered a 15-0 run to close the game and steal the victory. Nikola Jokic played a big role in that comeback and he was the best player on the floor for Denver all night. Big Honey finished with 29 points and 14 rebounds—8 of those points and 7 of those rebounds coming in the fourth quarter.

The next time we see the big fella take the floor, it will be for playoff basketball. Get hyped.
