It wasn’t a perfect night all around, but it started off incredible and finished that way for Jamal Murray.

The Denver Nuggets won tonight 104-95, though the final score doesn’t do the performance justice. The Sixers worked their way back into the game with some stifling defense in the fourth quarter combined with some Nuggets mistakes. That defense the Sixers played? It didn’t affect Jamal Murray at all. With some incredible step back jumpers and moves around the rim, Murray put on a show for Nuggets Nation in the first game fans have been allowed back at Ball Arena.

Murray put together a great night, scoring 30 points on 12-of-24 from the field and 5-of-11 from the three-point line. He also had a solid six rebounds, a modest four assists, and three steals that were important for Denver’s fast breaks. He started off the night with a behind-the-back pass to Nikola Jokić for a dunk, followed by a step back three while Tobias Harris fouled him for the And-1.

Murray capped off the night with an insane dribble move against Matisse Thybulle in the pressure cooker that was basically the straw that broke Philly’s back during their comeback attempt. Thybulle is a great defender, and Murray absolutely cooked him.

Check out the highlights below, a strong performance from Murray in front of the hometown fans for the first time in over a year.
