As first reported by Marc Spears, Bret Bearup – an adviser to Nuggets owner Stan Kroenke – "has been pushed out in a power struggle within the franchise" and only team president (and future owner) Josh Kroenke and GM Masai Ujiri "are authorized to discuss basketball issues on the franchise's behalf."
