The Denver Nuggets 2021-2022 season is officially in action, and there is a lot to look forward to in what is sure to be an entertaining and important season for this franchise. There is the eventual return of Jamal Murray who has been sidelined for six months with an ACL injury. There’s Will Barton, who will hopefully have a big impact now that he is fully healthy to start the season for the first time in a while. There’s Nikola Jokic, who will probably baffle us by having an even better year coming off his MVP award. And there’s Michael Porter Jr., who is sure to make yet another leap in his third year. All of these pieces do not seem to be lost on the players, as they have taken it amongst themselves to get the fans hyped up for the season on social media.

Nah’Shon “Bones” Hyland reacted enthusiastically to the team’s first win of the season on Wednesday night. Hyland, who is extremely active and personable on social media, is sure to be a staple of “Tweet of the Week” this season.

Will Barton also took to social media to react to the team’s first win of the season. Barton had a huge game against the Phoenix Suns, putting up 20 points, 5 assists, and 6 rebounds.

Monte Morris was also happy after the win against the Suns, posting this photo of himself in his pre-game attire.

Morris also took time to thank Nuggets fans after the home opener in which they defeated the San Antonio Spurs Friday night, maintaining their undefeated record in the young season.

If social media is any indication, the team is fully engaged and motivated for the season ahead. While there’s no guarantee that the season will meet expectations, it seems probable that the players and fans will have a ton of fun along the way.
