The past Tuesday was a big night for the Denver Nuggets for a multitude of reasons. First and foremost, the team went up against the top seed in the Western Conference in the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers have taken the league by storm so far this season, and Tuesday night served as an opportunity for the home team to see where they stand compared to LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the rest of the Lakers squad. Unfortunately, the Nuggets fell short and were not able to get the win. Regardless, it was a memorable night for the team and the fans, as the franchise debuted their newest “City Edition” jersey, a black version of the rainbow skyline design jerseys that we saw last season.

Based on the amount of fans that rushed to the stores to purchase their own jersey, this design seems to be a big hit. Not only are fans loving the look, but Monte Morris took to Instagram after the game to share his thoughts.

While it would have been great to see the team get a win on the night that these jerseys debuted, I’m sure fans are already anxiously awaiting the next time their team brands these new threads. Hopefully the team will fare better when that time comes.
