None Injuries Danilo Gallinari (knee), JaVale McGee (leg fracture), Nate Robinson (ACL sprain) are out.
The Clippers are going for their 12th straight victory Stat

The Nuggets have a .556 winning percentage (84-67) against the Clippers, their best record against any NBA opponent with at least 100 meetings.

The Denver Nuggets will host the streaking Los Angeles Clippers tonight.  LA has won 11 games in a row and currently sit three games behind San Antonio for the top spot in the Western Conference.  If the season ended today, the Clips would be the three seed. Denver is two games ahead of New Orleans and could improve their odds of landing the number one overall draft pick by 0.1 percent if they can fall behind them in the standings.  The Nuggets’ best hope at securing the juiciest lottery pick rests on Carmelo Anthony’s shoulders.  The New York Knicks are 3.5 games out from the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.  Denver has the Knicks’ first round draft pick and currently have a 1.1% chance at the number one pick.  If the Knicks make the playoffs, Denver’s odds would drop below 1%. Needless to say, the stakes of this season are nowhere near as high as our preseason hopes.

What else is at stake? TACOS! Denver has scored over 110 points in each of their last three home games. I expect both of these teams to tally up significant point totals. The Taco Bell drive thru should be lined up deep tomorrow.

Manimal has been feasting on opponents recently. Over his last seven games Kenneth Faried is averaging 22.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and shooting 67% from the field. Faried has needed to show growth this year and if he can continue asserting himself throughout the remainder of the season, Nuggets fans will have a great takeaway from a disappointing season. I am excited to see him bang down low with one of the premier power forwards in the league, Blake Griffin. Thoughts of lottery balls are bouncing in my head, but I would much rather see Manimal lead the Nuggets to victory tonight behind a 25-10 performance.

What am I drinking? Twisted Pine Ghost Face Killah

The Clippers have won 11 in a row, and sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. Brewed in Boulder, this novelty beer is made with six different peppers, including the ghost pepper. It is more drinkable than one might expect, but if you purchase this beer, make sure you have group of friends, preferably the macho/bro variety, to split it with you. A little goes a long way. If i finish the bottle during the game, I may even reward myself with a t-shirt stating as much.

Go Nuggets!
