Denver Nuggets Tweet of the Week: The players are getting hyped up for the playoffs

There hasn’t been a ton to do this week for Nuggets fans other than anxiously await the start of the playoffs

If you’re a Denver Nuggets fan, this week has probably felt like one of the longest in a long time. The Nuggets wrapped their regular season last Sunday, and because of the play-in tournament, fans have been forced to go five whole days without any games as they wait for the postseason to get underway. While this break could not be more needed for the team as they hope to get some of their players back from injury, it has been difficult as a fan to go this long in anticipation of the first game. Based on the social media accounts of several of the players, it would seem that they, too, are getting antsy for tonight when they take the court against the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round.

Zeke Nnaji posted this short message to his Instagram account this week as he is looking to participate in his first ever NBA playoffs.

Aaron Gordon posted this video of his highlights during his time with the Nuggets so far, and captioned it with a couple of hour glass emojis.

Michael Porter Jr. is also ready for the playoffs to start, as evidenced by the below post.

JaVale McGee posted the below message to his followers in which he expresses gratitude for the opportunity to compete for his fourth championship in the league.

I think it’s safe to say that the team is hyped and ready to get the journey started as they compete for the franchise’s first ever NBA championship. This week has felt like an eternity, but hopefully an extended playoff run is to follow.
