According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Denver Nuggets are planning to sing veteran guard Austin Rivers for the remainder of the season.

Like Woj alluded too, Rivers has played in five games with the Nuggets since signing a 10-day contract just a few weeks ago. Rivers has averaged 24.2 minutes in those games and has averaged 5.2 points, two assists, and two rebounds per game.

With the injuries to Jamal Murray, Monte Morris, and Will Barton III, the addition of Rivers helps provide the Nuggets more depth at the guard position. Morris and Barton will hopefully return to action soon, but having Rivers as another option for the rest of the season feels like a no brainer.
