Highlights: Nikola Jokic records first triple-double of the season, gets ejected late in game

It was a phenomenal game for Nikola Jokic even though he wasn't able to finish it.

The reigning MVP was at it again Monday night at home as Nikola Jokic helped lead the Denver Nuggets to a 113-96 victory over the Miami Heat. Jokic was dominant in all facets of the game finishing with 25 points to go along with 15 rebounds and 10 assists.

Jokic did all that on an efficient 10-of-14 shooting from the field, while also putting together a strong game defensively with two steals and two blocked shots. Everything was going great for the Nuggets and Jokic until the middle of the fourth quarter when Denver’s superstar center got into a bit of a scuffle with Heat forward Markieff Morris.

The incident led to an ejection for Jokic and Morris, but it definitely feels like being tossed from the game could just be the beginning. Morris was down on the floor for a solid five minutes and a stretcher was brought out for him until he was finally able to walk off under his own power.

A suspension could certainly be coming for Jokic, but it’s tough to speculate how many games — if any — the NBA will decide to punish the leagues reigning MVP. At least we have these incredible highlights from Jokic’s big night to at least mask what happened for the time being.
