The good news just keeps on rolling in for the Denver Nuggets. After beating the Clippers in Game 7 last night, the player that helped them do it was named to his second All-NBA team today.
After earning All-NBA First Team last season, Nikola Jokic can add another notch to his belt as he earned All-NBA Second Team for his tremendous play throughout the 2019-20 season.

Jokic got the second most first place on the All-NBA Second Team, only trailing Kawhi Leonard who got 39 to Nikola’s 21 votes. One reason why Jokic might have lost out on First Team honors is he began the season a little slow, which made his stats per game a little lower than what they were last season.
Still, in 73 regular season games, Jokic averaged a solid 19.9 points, 9.7 rebounds, and seven assists per game. Where Jokic has really picked up his play is in these playoffs as he is currently averaging 25.4 points, 10.8 rebounds, and six assists per game.

As you can also see on the graphic, Jokic lost out to Anthony Davis for First Team All-NBA, which is interesting considering Davis doesn’t really play center. Nonetheless, Jokic will be able to silence the doubters as he will most likely matchup against Davis for a majority of the Western Conference Finals. Jokic will be ready to rise to the challenge if you ask me.
Congrats to The Joker!
