According to Harrison Wind of DNVR Sports, the Denver Nuggets plan to sign former Marquette star Markus Howard to a two-way contract.

After going undrafted, Howard signs with the Nuggets after an impressive four-year career at Marquette. In 128 games, Howard averaged a phenomenal 21.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. Howard’s best season came in 2019-20 when he averaged 27.8 points per game (led all Division 1) while shooting 41 percent from beyond the arc.

Howard was arguably the best scorer in all of college basketball over the past few seasons and was a career 43 percent three-point shooter during his time at Marquette. Just two years ago, Howard was named Big East Player of the Year and led Marquette to the NCAA Tournament.
