45. Swaggy P
I’m not sure what it is about Nick Young, aka Swaggy P, that fans connect with. It could be his smile, his carefree vibe, or his downright outrageous antics both on and off the court. It could just be his memeability. But whatever it is, it hooked Nuggets fans from the very start of Swaggy P’s tenure in Denver. He got a standing ovation when he checked in to his first game wearing the Mile High City jersey and proceeded to knock down a three-pointer. Fun moment at The Can.
44: Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic get into it with Russell Westbrook
A season ago, Russell Westbrook knocked Nikola Jokic to the ground in a preseason game on a play that felt like Westbrook sending a message to the Nuggets. After Game 4 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals, the bit reached its climax when Big Honey straight up broke the equipment on live television.

Craig was never guaranteed a spot in this league, yet he carved one out through sheer will and unmatched hustle. He was never expected to start for an NBA team in 2019, but he did—both in the regular season and the playoffs. He absolutely, one hundred percent, was not expected to come in and knock down five threes in a crucial Game 4 win over the San Antonio Spurs. And yet—
41. Jokic gets quotable for the national media during All-Star Weekend - “Not today, buddy.”
While Nikola Jokic hasn’t undergone the same dramatic transformation in front of a microphone as his ever-quotable head coach, Michael Malone, he’s had his fair share of memorable moments with the media. Following the 2018-19 All-Star game, surrounded by a gaggle of strangers with strange equipment, our humble star revealed that he didn’t shake Malone’s hand after the win.
