ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Koby Altman, General Manager of the Cleveland Cavaliers, spent his Saturday in Denver interviewing several candidates for the vacant Head Coach position, including two of Denver’s assistants.

According to Woj, both Jordi Fernandez and Wes Unseld Jr. met separately with the Cleveland front office on the day before Game Seven, and Portland Trail Blazers assistant, David Vanterpool, was interviewed as well.

As the Nuggets prepare for the biggest basketball game played in Denver since 2009, two of their top assistants will be charged with keeping their focus despite drawing closer to landing their own gig as a head coach in the NBA.
