Jamal Murray has been challenged physically by Derrick White, mentally by his head coach Michael Malone, and verbally by the media since this series began. He’s responded and risen to the occasion in these last two games. On Tuesday night, Murray was among the best players on the floor in the Denver Nuggets’ pivotal win over the San Antonio Spurs. He finished with 23 points on 9-for-16 from the field, 4 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. He was a +33 in the 18-point victory.
