Watch: Nikola Jokic asserts himself on offense, Tony Brothers asserts his authority

Big game for Joker, but big

NBA: Indiana Pacers at Denver Nuggets Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Nikola Jokic must have been hearing the scuttlebutt about him being tired, because he looked anything but in the first quarter against the Indiana Pacers last night. Joker poured in 16 points in the first frame on his was to a 26 point night overall. In typical Joker fashion, he also piled on 7 boards and 5 assists. Unfortunately, Nikola also got 2 technical fouls within about 3 seconds of each other. With three minutes to go Jokic got tangled with Myles Turner going for a rebound and was whistled for an offensive foul. Jokic was right to be upset, it looked like a no-call if not a foul on Turner, but Tony Brothers called it on Joker and he lost his mind. The Denver Nuggets luckily escaped with the win after that so no harm was done. Check out Joker big night on the scoreboard, and his big blowup on Brothers below.
