Jamal Murray was a man on a mission Monday night and because of that, the Denver Nuggets walked away with their seventh straight victory. Murray dropped a game-high 28 points on the Suns, no two points being more important than the ones he scored with 2.5 seconds left in regulation.

Murray hit a wicked step-back on Aron Baynes and the rest was history as Denver not only won the season series against Phoenix, but swept their back-to-back after beating the Lakers on Sunday night. Denver has now won seven straight games and are second in the Western Conference with a 21-8 record.

As for Murray, he scored his 28 points on an extremely effective 12-of-19 shooting from the field and drilled 4-of-8 from downtown. Murray also dished out seven assists and hauled in three rebounds, while creating two steals on the defensive end of the floor.

It was not just Murray who had a big game as Nikola Jokic recorded yet another triple-double, which was the 34th of his career. Jokic finished the night with 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists moving him ahead of Bob Cousy for 10th all-time.
