It has been almost two years — March 16. 2018 to be exact — since Michael Porter Jr. played in a basketball game.
The wait officially came to and end on Tuesday night as Porter took the floor in a Denver Nuggets uniform for the first time. After sitting out the first half, Porter finally checked in with 4:30 remaining in the third quarter.
On his very first touch in the NBA, Porter dribbled between his legs and proceeded to hit a step-back jumper.

Hopefully that shot is a sign of things to come as Porter has an opportunity to help take the Nuggets to even greater heights this season and beyond.
