In Episode 2 of Breaking Basketball: A Nugglife Story, a promising season takes a series of unexpected turns that challenge the team—and even the media who follow them. By the All-Star break, the Nuggets’ championship aspirations are tested by injury, locker room upheaval, and league actions. As this heat gets cranked up on the team, everyone around them feels the pressure, too.

Breaking Basketball is a multipart docuseries that recounts the story of the Nuggets’ historic 2019-20 season, exactly as it will happen. The series features commentary, game calls, interviews, and more to document an incredible season.

We truly appreciate all of the positive feedback we have received since our first episode! This series has been a tremendous amount of work, so thank you for your comments and support. We recognize this style of podcast may not be for all of The Dig’s regular listeners, but if you enjoy documentary storytelling, this show may be for you. Give it a shot.

If you haven’t already, make sure to check out Episode 1 before continuing on with the story.
