Michael Porter Jr. was a draft day steal for the Denver Nuggets just based on his talent level. It’s just his health that might be an issue, but he called his second surgery this summer “monumental” in terms of fixing his back injury and letting him be pain-free. In this interview he talks about his relationship with Isaiah Thomas (who also has some Seattle connections) and

Porter is currently working “a lot of core stuff” as he takes the steps through rehab to get back on the court, but says he won the shooting contest with Isaiah Thomas and that there’s no place in the NBA that would be better for him than Denver.
